Bartlett trustees sworn in
Two new Bartlett village trustees were officially sworn in at Tuesday’s board meeting while longtime Trustee T.L. Arends celebrated her re-election.
New Trustee Gregory Martin will chair the license and ordinance committee. Martin is an artist whose studio, Chameleon Artist, is located in the village. Martin has lived in Bartlett since 1993.
New Trustee Eric Shipman, a resident of Bartlett since 1994 and a West Chicago police sergeant, will chair the police and health committee.
The two take the place of Sherry Bormann and John Kavouris, who chose not to seek re-election.
