Do we need another hack like O’Reilly?

Because there are so many new generational, fresh, interesting political columnists around today for us to learn from, I was disappointed to see your newspaper add another longtime, old school, political hack like Bill O’Reilly to your Opinion page.

What can he possibly add new to your paper that is not already seen on his own daily cable show and other talk shows, heard on talk radio programs and read in his numerous books? It would be more valuable to read columns from other writers who are less ubiquitous, like John Nichols, Jennifer Epstein and Jonathan Capehart, to name just three.
