Fabyan Villa Garden opens early

Preservation Partners of the Fox Valley has announced the Fabyan Japanese Garden will open its doors to the public from 1 to 4:30 p.m. Sunday, May 1.
The garden will be open from 1 to 4:30 p.m. Sundays. After May 15, it will be open from 1 to 4 p.m. Wednesdays. Due to record numbers at the garden last season, this year from June to August, the garden will be open from 1 to 4 p.m. Thursdays.
The Fabyan Villa Museum will open for the season from 1 to 4:30 p.m. Sunday, May 15, for guided tours through the home.
The guided tour will be loaded with historic facts and stories about George and Nelle Fabyan, their collection of Asian artifacts and their famous estate redesigned by Frank Lloyd Wright.
Private or group tours are available during nonpublic hours. From May to October, guests are welcome to tour the garden and museum from 1 to 4 p.m. Wednesdays and 1 to 4:30 p.m. Sundays.
The museum and garden are owned by the Forest Preserve District of Kane County and operated by Preservation Partners of the Fox Valley.
