Elmhurst College drops some tuition rates

Tuition rates will drop for adult students enrolled in one of four accelerated-major programs at Elmhurst College, officials said.

Effective this fall, tuition for accelerated courses in business administration, information technology, managerial communication and preclinical psychology will be reduced from $814 a semester hour to $559.

College officials said the reduction is one of many efforts to keep school affordable while recognizing the growing number of adult learners, ages 24 and older, seeking ways to earn undergraduate degrees.

Tuition for graduate programs will remain unchanged.
