Country musician added to Ribfest lineup

Country singer-songwriter David Nail will open for Phil Vassar July 1 at Naperville’s Ribfest celebration, organizers said Thursday.

Nail “comes across well in his soulful style that the country fans will love to hear,” Ribfest Entertainment Chairman Matt Kaley said.

This year’s Ribfest, sponsored by the Naperville Exchange Club, will run from July 1 through 4 in Knoch Park near downtown. The festival includes a variety of family activities as well as 14 rib vendors from across the country and music on two stages. All proceeds go to support the elimination of child abuse and domestic violence.
