Hoffman Estates advocacy center hosts walk

The Children's Advocacy Center of North and Northwest Cook County, which works to reduce trauma and provide support to child victims of violence, will host a Champions 4 Children Walk at 9 a.m. Saturday, May 14.

Participants pay $20 to take part in the three-mile walk, which starts at the center, 640 Illinois Blvd., Hoffman Estates. All proceeds will benefit the center and participants will receive a T-shirt.
