Ideas sought to improve biking, walking in Des Plaines
The Chicago-based Active Transportation Alliance will host a public meeting Saturday in Des Plaines seeking residents input on how the city could be made more bicycle and walking friendly, and where paths may be expanded.
The meeting will begin at 1:30 p.m. at the Des Plaines Public Library, 1501 Ellinwood St.
