District 304 to honor retirees

All are welcome to attend a reception honoring this year’s retirees from Geneva Unit District 304.

The district’s fourth annual retirement open house will be Thursday, April 28, in the Geneva Middle School North cafeteria, 1357 Viking Drive. A reception will be from 3:30 to 4:30 p.m., followed by a recognition ceremony from 4:30 to 4:45 p.m.

This year’s retirees are: David Burk, business education teacher at Geneva High School; Rich Chmura, custodian at Geneva Middle School North; Gayle Findley, guidance counselor at Geneva High School; Chuck Hutt, security for Geneva Unit District 304; Linda McCulloch, special education teacher at Geneva High School; Tom Ricketts, security at Geneva High School; Carole Rotter, librarian at Geneva Middle School South; Jon Schaus, driver education teacher at Geneva High School; Linda Snoply, language arts teacher at Geneva Middle School North; John Vani, custodian at Geneva Middle School South; and Jan Weigand, first-grade teacher at Harrison Street Elementary School.
