Roadwork starts Monday at Stearns/Route 25/Dunham

Lane closures at the Stearns Road/Route 25/Dunham Road intersection in St. Charles Township between Wayne and South Elgin are scheduled to begin Monday and continue through May 16.

The closures will be on Route 25 and Dunham, north and south of Stearns. Closures are not needed on Stearns.

One lane will be closed to traffic to allow a contractor to make repairs to the concrete pavement.

The first closure will involve the outermost lanes. Then work will progress toward the middle and will eventually reach the center/median area of the roadway.

Traffic patterns will change and extended travel times are expected.
