Jersey Mike's Subs in St. Charles to Raise Funds for St. Charles East High School and Wasco Baseball during Grand Opening

Jersey Mike's Subs will open its first store in St. Charles on April 20. Jersey Mike's owner Jim Shipman knows the importance of community relations and will celebrate his new ties with the area during the grand opening.

To commemorate the event, the new restaurant, located at 2540 E. Main Street in St. Charles, Ill., is hosting a 5-day fundraiser from Wed., April 20 through Sun., April 24, with proceeds supporting St. Charles East High School Booster Club and Wasco Baseball. Anyone who has a fundraising coupon can get a free regular size sub with a minimum $1 contribution. More than 6,000 coupons are being distributed throughout the community.

This is the second Jersey Mike's store that Shipman has opened in the last year. He also has a store in Geneva and is exploring plans to open additional stores in the coming years. “Through the store in Geneva we have organized numerous successful fundraisers for local schools and non-profit organizations. We feel that this is the best way for us to give back to our community,” said Shipman. “We are passionate about becoming a partner with the families and organizations in Fox Valley and feel privileged to be able to help in a meaningful way.”
