GOP has candidate for court clerk

Less than a week after Lake County Circuit Court Clerk Sally Coffelt announced she won’t run for re-election in 2012, her chief deputy launched his campaign. Keith Brin, of Highland Park, will run for the seat Coffelt has held for 32 years. Both are Republicans. No Democrat candidate has surfaced yet.
