Proposed Pedestrian Underpass Open House Scheduled at Lombard Train Station

The project, with an estimated cost of $6.2 million, proposes a pedestrian underpass at Park Avenue and the train tracks. Also included will be replacement of the commuter platform, accessibility improvements and covered canopies for commuters. Construction is not set to begin until 2012.
