What is Obama’s plan for Libya?
After waiting three weeks, President Obama finally addressed the Libya problem. He said, “Gadhafi has to go.” A week later he said Gadhafi is not the target. He said we will support the rebels, even though we do not know who they are or what they stand for, but we would only be there for a few days. We would then turn this over to NATO, who is mostly us.
In the past several days Gadhafi seems to be gaining ground. We have spent over $550 million, and what have we accomplished? Our president, who has never run anything, is running a war. He has no strategy, a disoriented mission and no goal. And Gadhafi may remain in power. So what was the point?
If this sounds familiar, think about the health care law — which 60 percent of Americans are opposed to — job-killing green policies, and no plan for deficit reduction.
