New North Barrington trustee appointed

North Barrington resident Brent Johnson will be appointed a new village trustee Wednesday night to fill the remaining 2-year term of newly elected Village President Al Pino.

Pino, who ran unopposed for his new office, will be sworn in Wednesday night along with incumbent Trustees Edmund P. Boland, Mark Kolar and Lawrence Weiner, who also went unchallenged in their re-election bids.

Neither Pino nor Johnson could be reached for comment Monday. The new board will be seated at the end of the village board meeting beginning at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday at North Barrington village hall, 111 Old Barrington Road.
