Artists lead talk at Arlington event

The village of Arlington Heights Arts Commission’s next Artist Outreach features “Art Chat: A conversation with leading local visual artists.”

The discussion by Joe Burlini, Jack Musich and Eileen Jorgensen will include the creative process, marketing, opportunities for today’s artists and the future of art in today’s world. The event starts at 6:30 p.m. Friday, April 29, in the village hall Community Room, third floor, 33 S. Arlington Heights Road, Arlington Heights. Networking will be followed by the panel discussion, as well as an opportunity for questions from the audience.

There will be a drawing for two tickets to a performance at Metropolis Performing Arts Centre, as well as coffee and refreshments.

The event is free and open to all artists and patrons of the arts.

For information and reservations, contact Derek Mach, arts commission liaison, at arts@vah.com or (847) 368-5232.
