Good luck to Aurora alderman

The election season started many months ago. In that time, I have walked the neighborhoods having been fortunate to talk to hundreds of residents about their concerns for Aurora and its 5th Ward.

I wish to take this opportunity to thank those who supported and voted for me. It is truly appreciated.

From the beginning, I knew it would not be an easy task. By all accounts, the incumbent alderman is popular, likable and concerned about Aurora. He also conducts himself as a gentleman.

I congratulate Mr. Peters on his re-election. Like all levels of government, there are numerous issues facing the City of Aurora. I wish Mr. Peters and our other city leaders much success in meeting these challenges.
