Privilege to serve on COD board

On April 5, the voters in Illinois had the opportunity to vote for the individuals they thought could best serve in various elective positions. On April 5, I was fortunate to be elected to serve on the board of trustees for the College of DuPage, an institution which has been referred to as a “good news story” in DuPage County.

And, it truly is. With a student population close to 30,000, it is second only to the University of Illinois. Its ability to pass a $168 million building referendum last fall in a tough economic climate speaks volumes about the support the residents of District 502 have for the college.

I am honored to be able to serve the residents of this area in such an important capacity and I will do my best to earn the trust you have placed in me. Thank you for your support.
