Ease up on gasoline tax

Well isn’t that interesting? People can buy gas in Indiana for 65 cents a gallon cheaper than what we pay in the Chicago area. Why is it when the price of a gallon of gas goes up, the taxes go up with it?

We need emergency relief now from our state and municipal taxing bodies that impose taxes on every gallon of gas sold in the metro-Chicago area. We may not be able to affect the price of crude oil, but our elected leaders can provide relief. It is needed now.
