Police Announce 75th Street Traffic Enforcement Initiative
On Tuesday April 19th, 2011, The Naperville Police Department will be conducting a directed traffic safety initiative along the 75th Street corridor.
The purpose of the initiative is to increase the safety of citizens utilizing the thoroughfare through education and traffic enforcement. Our efforts will concentrate on speed and occupant restraint violations as well as other safety violations noted during our efforts.
The Du Page County Sheriff's Office and the Woodridge Police Department are expected to join the Naperville Police Department in this initiative. Each jurisdiction will implement their own enforcement action based upon the needs of their communities.
The Naperville Police Department would like to remind all motorists to “Buckle Up” and drive safely.
