Gilberts home damaged in fire

A fire on the 200 block of Woodland Park Circle in Gilberts caused damage to a two-story home in the Timber Trails Subdivision this afternoon.

The Rutland-Dundee Fire Protection District responded to the fire and is still out on the scene.

Streamwood firefighters are staffing the district headquarters and have no information on the fire itself.
