Arlington Hts. school gets them reading

Children love books, and nothing gets them reading like being read to. St. Peter Lutheran School, 111 W. Olive St., in Arlington Heights, recently brought parents and their young children into the school at night for “Books at Bedtime.” The special event, for children in preschool to third grade, got the children cozying up with their parents and their favorite books.

Ryan Robinson and his two daughters, Kelly, 4, and Mary Claire, 3, settle in with their favorite book, “Teasing Trouble.” Mark Welsh/mwelsh@dailyherald.com
