Update: The Nets (24-57) are working hard to win more lottery chances, losing 14 of their last 16 games. Point guard Deron Williams is out after having wrist surgery. Top rebounder Kris Humphries is sidelined by an ankle injury. Center Brook Lopez has averaged 32.4 points and has shot 60 percent from the field over the last five games. Grabbing rebounds still isn’t a strength, though. In Monday’s loss to Charlotte, Lopez had 31 points and 3 boards. New Jersey is starting an ex-Lakers backcourt of Jordan Farmar and Sasha Vujacic.
