Palatine League of Women Voters to hold spending discussion
The League of Women Voters of the Palatine area will hold a public discussion on government spending at 7 p.m. Thursday, April 28, at Palatine village hall, meeting room A, 200 E. Wood St., Palatine.
Subjects to be discussed include good vs. wasteful government spending, as well as when the government should or shouldn’t intervene.
The League, which is dedicated to promoting civil political discussions to engage and educate voters, said the public is welcome to come with their opinions and be prepared to listen to others. For more information, visit lwvpalatinearea.org.
