Second-graders at Butterfield School in Libertyville will show off what they have learned about dinosaurs during a Dinomite Night at the school on Wednesday, April 13.
The special event, to run from 7 to 8 p.m. at the school, 1441 W. Lake St., will have the students showing their parents and family members how much they have learned about the prehistoric beasts.
The event will act as an open house for the second-graders as they show off their incredible dinosaur work including; PowerPoint slideshows, dioramas, dinosaur research, and journal writing.
“The students have said that the dinosaur unit has been their favorite unit yet! It is to be an exciting night for all,” said teacher Karen McLean.
Kindergartners and first-graders also will hold an open house at 7 p.m. the same night.
