Villa Park offers pool passes on sale
The Villa Park Recreation Department announces that pool passes for the 2011 season go on sale May 2 at the Iowa Community Center, 338 N. Iowa and the Community Recreation Building, 320 E. Wildwood.
If you have previously purchassed a photo pass you simply need to complete a renewal application and bring in your old pass(es) and a 2011 sticker will be affixed to the pass(es). Pool passes are not vaild for this season unless they have a current sticker. Lost or misplaced passes can be replaced for an additional $7 each.
It is recommended that children get new photos every two years. These passes are provided at no cost. Please note that photos may only be taken at the Iowa Community Center. The early bird rate is availalbe May 2-June 4 as follows: resident ages 3-59, $39, resident senior age 60 and up, $34. Please note that there is not an early bird rate for non-residents.
Beginning June 6, rates will be: resident ages 3-59, $50, resident senior, $45. Passes for non residents ages 3-59 are $70 and non-resident seniors are $65. The daily admission is $7 for residents 3 and up and $9 for non-residents age 3 and up.
Patrons can take advantage of the warm summer evenings and swim from 5 pm to close for the low cost of $5 per resident and $7 for non-residents.
Another admission option is a 15-use pass. This pass allows the holder to save on the daily admission price without purchasing individual passes. These passes do not require a photo and can be shared among friends and family. The pass is punched each time a patron presents it at the pool according to the number of persons entering that day.
The fee is $70 for residents and $114 for non-residents. Jefferson Pool, 341 N. Harvard, opens June 4; Lufkin Pool, 1000 S. Ardmore, opens June 11 for the season. For more information on pool passes, call (630) 834-8970.
