BMW golf tickets on sale Monday

The annual “Monday After the Majors” ticket promotion for the BMW Championship returns with a new twist this year.

This time, if any of the past BMW Championship winners — Tiger Woods, Camilo Villegas or Dustin Johnson — finish in the top 10 at the Masters, clubhouse tickets for the BMW Championship will be sold at a reduced rate of $33 ($11 off the price of face value) for one day only on Monday, April 11.

“This promotion has always been one enjoyed by our fans. We changed things up a bit this year to make it more engaging for fans here in Chicago by tying it in with our past champions,” said Vince Pellegrino, Western Golf Association vice president of tournaments. “Hopefully, one of them comes through for the golf fans in Chicago.”

If the past champions fail to finish in the top 10 this week, Any Day Clubhouse tickets will still be reduced and sold for $39 ($6 off face value) at BMWChampionshipUSA.com or by calling the tournament office at (847) 724-4600 from Noon to 11:59 p.m. on Monday.

The BMW Championship — the third event in the PGA TOUR Playoffs for the FedExCup — returns in 2011 to Cog Hill Golf & Country Club in Lemont Sept. 12-18.
