Metra to Begin Platform Improvement Project in Mid-April 2011

On Monday, April 11, 2011, Metra will begin a significant construction project to remove and reconstruct the north and south platforms of the downtown Naperville Metra Station. In addition, the deck of the railroad bridge over Washington Street will also be reconstructed. Construction is slated for completion in 2012.

Commuters, residents, business owners and other stakeholders are encouraged to register on the city's website at www.naperville.il.us/enews.aspx to receive the Metra Platform Improvement Project e-Newsletter. While this is strictly a Metra project, the city will distribute news via this communication outlet as it becomes available.
