St. Charles North 9, Plainfield Central 2: John Brodner (2-for-3, 2 RBI) and Dirk Schmit hit home runs as the North Stars (4-3) rallied from a 2-1 deficit with a 7-run third inning to win Monday in Plainfield.
Jake Johansmeir also had 2 hits. Leadoff hitter David Gow was 1-for-2 and scored 3 runs. Gow and Andrew Elliot both had doubles.
John Munyon worked the first four innings for the win. Carl Formento didn’t allow a hit in working a scoreless final 2 innings.
St. Charles East 9, Prairie Ridge 7: Tony Rallo drilled a grand slam and had 6 RBI while sophomore Brian Sobieski had a home run and a double for the Saints, who fell behind 3-0 after one inning and 5-2 after three.
Nathan Sharko picked up his first win.
Aurora Christian 10, Guerin Prep 0: Bobby Kuntzendorf and Jake Hanson combined for a 6-inning no-hitter Monday for the Eagles (6-2, 1-1).
Kuntzendorf fanned 12 in his 5 innings. Hanson struck out the side in the sixth.
Brent Minta (3-for-3, 2 RBI, 2 runs), Kenny McCracken (2-for-4, 2 RBI) and Josh Haugen (2-for-4, triple, 2 runs) led Aurora Christian’s offense.
