Indians 7, White Sox 1

Triple dip: In the fourth inning, Alexei Ramirez bunted into a 3-4-6 triple play and the Sox never recovered. It was the first time the White Sox were the victims of a triple play since April 22, 1978, at Toronto.

Second best: John Danks was sharp in his season debut (6 innings, 6 hits, 2 runs, 8 strikeouts), but Cleveland counterpart Justin Masterson was better. Masterson allowed 1 run on 7 hits over 7 innings and 16 of his 21 outs were groundballs.

Still swinging: Omar Vizqel made his first start of the season and the 43-year-old third baseman was 2-for-3. Vizquel now has 2,801 career hits.
