Riverwalk Spring Spruce Up set for April 16

Naperville residents are encouraged to bring their work gloves, rakes and community spirit to the annual Riverwalk Spring Spruce Up taking place from 9 a.m. to noon on Saturday, April 16.

Volunteer check-in will be at the Dandelion Fountain, located on the corner of Jackson Avenue and Webster Street. Upon check-in, volunteers will be assigned a duty, including mulching, raking and general clean-up. Forms will be available for those seeking to document community service hours.

The annual Riverwalk Spring Spruce Up is organized by the Naperville Park District in cooperation with the Riverwalk Foundation and the Riverwalk Commission. The Spring Spruce Up will be canceled if there is inclement weather and/or the temperature is below 40 degrees at 8 a.m. on the day of the event.
