Palatine church offers monthly interfaith singing meditation

The second Friday of every month, the public is invited, free, to join “Singing Meditation” at Countryside Church Unitarian Universalist, 1025 N. Smith St., in Palatine.

Beginning at 7:30 p.m., facilitated singing and silence alternate to create a calming spiritual experience.

Participants learn all songs in each session and need not have any prior group singing experience or music reading ability. No RSVP is necessary. The repertoire is interfaith: Jewish, Christian, Sufi, earth-based, Hindu, Buddhist and others.
