Smart, dedicated, hardworking people
In these challenging economic times, we need fiscally competent people at the helm. I have had the pleasure of knowing two wonderful financial minds, Jim and Kathy Hogan, since moving to Lombard in 1988 and I urge you to give them your votes in the upcoming election.
There isn’t enough room to list all the local and national organizations that have benefited from the Hogans’ involvement but I’d like to make special note of a few. Currently the chairwoman of the finance committee, Kathy Hogan has served on the Lombard Park Board in a variety of capacities, including president, since 1993. She joined the board of Lombard Towne Centre at my request in 2007 when the organization needed financial leadership. Kathy did not disappoint.
Jim Hogan has served on many village committees, including the finance committee and the economic and community development committee, and held leadership roles with the Tri-Town Y and the Lombard Jaycees.
Jim and Kathy Hogan are smart, dedicated, and hardworking people. I know that they are not running for office in order to push a specific agenda or group or issue forward. They are running for office in order to help make Lombard a better place to live and work through fiscally sound policies and fiscally sound long-range planning.
