Sidor is the man for Arlington Hts.
Mike Sidor is the simply the best candidate for the job.
As a longtime resident of Arlington Heights, Mike Sidor is extremely knowledgeable about the community and knows where the village has been and where it should be going. Even before announcing his candidacy for his first run for village trustee two years ago, he was assisting community members in having their voices heard by the board and was willing to devote his own time to encourage action for the betterment of village citizens.
Mike’s many endorsements are a testament to his greatest strengths — knowledge of village issues, a dedication to the residents of the village, and a willingness to listen to both sides before making an informed decision. Mike is committed to a forward-thinking approach to village development, and is not satisfied with maintaining the status quo.
I have read some of the letters to the editor in which the writers mistakenly decry Mike, despite his years as a small-business owner, as being without experience or somehow motivated by his “own personal agenda.” These conclusions can only best be described as wrong and misguided.
For those who might still be on the fence, you need not look any further than those who have already endorsed Mike: the Daily Herald, the Arlington Heights Fire Fighters and Patrol Officers Associations, the Sierra Club and numerous local leaders as well as regular citizens from all walks of life.
I will not cast a vote for a candidate simply because of some previous political appointment. I, for one, will vote for Mike Sidor because he has proved his good character, his dedication to the residents of the village, and his willingness to work with both sides on an issue after giving all an opportunity to be heard.
