Park candidate has the fiscal skills

I am writing in support of Kathy Hogan’s candidacy for Lombard Park District commissioner. My family and I have lived in Lombard for over 25 years, and I have known Kathy for more than half of that time. Kathy and I have worked together to forge intergovernmental agreements between the park district and the Library.

Kathy has also committed her time to serve on citizens advisory groups at the library. While serving with Kathy on the board of directors of the Lombard Town Centre, I have seen her commitment to work for a better future for all of Lombard.

As a park commissioner, Kathy has continually increased her expertise in recreational issues by attending seminars and symposiums and by her service on a state park district board that awards accreditation to park districts in Illinois. As a CPA with an accounting business in Lombard, her financial acumen is exceptional. Kathy’s actions show that she believes in collaboration and in working to increase intergovernmental cooperation. Kathy is an independent voice who doesn’t mechanically vote as part of a bloc.

We need Kathy’s fiscal skills, thoughtful insight, and extensive experience on the park board. On April 5th, my family and I will be voting for Kathy Hogan.
