Sixers 97, Bulls 85

Getting burned: The Bulls have used dominant fourth quarters to make up early deficits before, but they couldn’t recover after falling behind by 23 points. This result ended the Bulls’ 14-game home winning streak.

Rose takes blame: Inside the locker room, Derrick Rose blamed himself for the loss because he finished with 10 turnovers. Rose also scored 31 points, and coach Tom Thibodeau complained after the game that Rose didn’t get enough foul calls on drives to the basket.

Lead on hold: The Bulls still have a 2-game lead for first place in the Eastern Conference over Boston, which lost Monday at Indiana. Miami and Boston are now tied for second place.
