Scouting the Rapids: Conor Casey and Omar Cummings likely will be replaced up top by Andre Akpan and Quincy Amarikwa as coach Gary Smith seems ready to rest some of his starters following Saturday's win at Chivas USA.
Scouting the Fire: After going one and done last year against Charleston, the Fire wants to give a better showing in the U.S. Open Cup this year. The team will use its many of its starters.
