If hard on Walker, be hard on Quinn

The March 10 Victor Darst letter to the editor regarding Scott Walker campaign funding by the Koch brothers was simplistic and biased.

First, Walker said nothing to be ashamed of to the Koch impersonator. Second, if $40,000 supposedly bought Walker, how about the $42,000 the AFSCME government workers union gave to Walker’s opponent along with another $18,000 from the Wisconsin teachers? Does Darst not think that money wasn’t trying to talk to them?

Or, in the interests of full disclosure, is the face of Gov. Quinn really union voters and contributions? Look how much money went to Quinn from the unions. Darst’s letters indicate that he usually only sees corruption in conservative candidates.

The voters spoke, Mr. Darst, and they wanted Walker. Get over it, or get on Quinn’s case, too.
