Palatine fire vacancy
The Palatine Rural Fire Protection District is looking for candidates interested in filling a vacancy on its board of fire commissioners. The board meets quarterly on the first Thursday of January, April, July, and October. Commissioners conduct entry level and promotional interviews, and from time to time may hold disciplinary hearings. Applicants must live within the district. Interested parties should send a letter and resume no later than April 8 to the Palatine Rural Fire Protection District, Attn: Board of Trustees, 35 N. Ela Road, Inverness, IL 60067-4450.
