Politicians keeping cost of living too high

Can you please stop putting extra weight on all of our shoulders? Are you kidding me — a dollar per pack tax on cigarettes? Gas prices are too high, ComEd wants an increase, our property taxes keep going up, and our own governor outright lied during his campaign and increased the income taxes twice the amount he promised during his campaign. By the way, is Gov. Quinn ever in Springfield? Or is he living high on the hog in Chicago all of the time?

Through all of this our income does not go up even half of the amount of the extra expense that you, the politicians, put on our shoulders. So when your computer calls me with your phony messages and requests for my input, maybe now you will understand why I abruptly hang up the telephone. And when any of our supposedly elected officials knock at my door, I do not answer. I have had enough of your lies and double talk.
