Health care law is aptly named

After being the law of our land for almost one year, it is high time more of us learn the right name for what many still call “Obamacare:” It is the “Affordable Care Act.” Not that our president should regret having this legislative achievement designated by his name, but because its right name points in these difficult economic times to why the health care we all need is becoming available to more of us. Because it is more affordable! Why? For more reasons than space here allows, but here are two: 1) It provides tax credits to working families to make sure they can afford quality coverage; and 2) It provides tax credits to small businesses so they can offer competitive, affordable health care to their employees. It is well named!
