Get help translating family documents

Here’s a boon for genealogists or anyone who’s found an old family document and is just curious to know more about their lineage.

Translators will be at the Arlington Heights Memorial Library, 500 N. Dunton Ave., from 1 to 4 p.m. Saturday, April 9 to help decipher documents written in languages other than English. Among the languages the translators speak and read are German, Russian, Polish and Ukrainian. Some can even translate old script.
