Bulls 132, Kings 92

Balanced blowout: There was never much concern the Kings would repeat last year’s 35-point comeback at the United Center. The Bulls placed eight players in double figures, ranging from Derrick Rose and Kyle Korver with 18 each, down to C.J. Watson with 11.

Airing it out: The Bulls regained their 3-point shooting touch, thanks in part to the Kings’ effortless defense. The home team knocked down 12 of 17 shots from long range, with Korver going 4-for-5.

Story of the game: “I don’t know what it was, we just didn’t show the effort tonight.” — Sacramento center Sam Dalembert
