Update: The first trip to Atlanta this season on March 2 resulted in one of the Bulls’ most disappointing losses. They dropped an 83-80 decision after leading by 17 points at halftime. The Bulls avenged that defeat by beating the Hawks 94-76 at the United Center nine days later. Derrick Rose scored 34 points in the second meeting. Hawks center Al Horford had 31 points and 16 rebounds in the first contest. Atlanta (40-30) still sits in fifth place in the East but is just 7-12 since Feb. 8.
