Double jeopardy for Blagojevich?

Rod Blagojevich is going to be retried for alleged crimes. The 5th Amendment to our Constitution states “no person be subject for the same offense to be twice put in jeopardy of life or limb.”

Did we not witness a trial of Rod Blagojevich and that he was found guilty of a frivolous crime, by the jury? The crime was lying to an FBI agent about his involvement in campaign finance. Are not all politicians involved in financing their own campaigns? This charge should be appealed.

The judge and prosecutors should abide by the constitutions and not put Rod Blagojevich in double jeopardy.
