Update: It may seem like this happened a decade ago, but it was just last season when the Kings erased a 35-point, third-quarter deficit at the United Center to provide the low moment of Vinny Del Negro’s coaching tenure on Dec. 21, 2009. These days Sacramento owns the second-worst record in the Western Conference, ahead of only Minnesota. Tyreke Evans (18.3 ppg) has missed 16 games with plantar fasciitis. He’s expected back soon, but probably not Monday. SG Marcus Thornton has averaged 21 points in 12 games since being acquired from the Hornets. Rookie PF DeMarcus Cousins is at 14.3 points and 8.7 rebounds.
