Letter claims Terson says one thing, does another
I recently read the candidate profile of Mike Terson who is running unopposed for Village of Buffalo Grove trustee. He hasn’t even been elected yet and he already has mastered the political hypocrisy we unfortunately see in so many of our politicians. He stated the following:
“One thing that I would like to accomplish is to eradicate bullying from our community. Buffalo Grove has been recognized in recent years by a number of publications as one of the best communities to live in and raise a family. While we already have such an excellent community, I feel that one way it could be better is by making a concerted effort to create a community in which our children are free from bullying. I would like to see us create a group of community leaders from our school districts, park districts, village and police department, whose goal is to come up with methods to eliminate bullying. I think that if a group of citizens, elected officials and professionals collaborate and regularly communicate, we would see this problem decrease, and maybe one day not exist.”
Really? That’s very meaningful from a guy who named his band after an adult anonymous blogger (HipCheck16) who thought it was OK to publicly humiliate, demean, defame and BULLY a 15-year-old boy by posting disgusting and sick comments after a Daily Herald online article, then fight to keep his name from public disclosure.
What does that say about Mr. Terson’s judgment as one of our community “leaders”? He is a typical politician. Do one thing and say another.
Too bad he’s running unopposed.
