Drivers should show courtesy
Every morning, I get coffee and a doughnut at the Dunkin’ Donuts at 1697 Weiland Rd Buffalo Grove. Between 7 and 8 a.m. the cars going north on Weiland block the intersection at Old Weiland Rd and Weiland Rd.
You cannot make a left turn to go south on Weiland because the cars that are stopped for the light at Weiland and Aptakisic will not let you out. Even if you are waiting there with your turn signal on, they block the street.
If you try and edge your way out, they give you the finger and swear at you.
Drivers should use common sense, leave the intersection open and let the people make the turn south bound onto Weiland.
You cannot go anywhere since the light is red, so why block the intersection and why would you give someone the finger and swear at them? Show a little courtesy; let them make the turn.
