Fremd’s Junior Varsity Poms end season as champs

The 2010-2011 Fremd High School Junior Varsity Pom Team celebrated the culmination of its season with a first-place finish in Poms and second-place finish in Kick at the JV Finals held at Argo High School Feb. 13.

This year’s pom routine was performed to Janet Jackson’s “Rhythm Nation” and the kick routine was performed to “Barcelona.”

The 2010-2011 competitive season started in December, and the JV poms went undefeated with their pom routine. The Fremd JV pom team consists of 26 members: Kylie Adams, Valeria Amador, Sara Beardsley, Kelsey Bechtold, Eden Bluhm, Autumn Cho, Laura Croak, Kinga Fluder, Shelby Garrett, Ashley Guest, Krista Guest, Samantha Holzhauer, Morgan Johnson, Katie Kelly, Brooke Kotrla, Faith Leatherman, Katlyn Lee, Veronica Lenz, Andrea Nicholson, Natalie Notaro, Megan Perkins, Caroline Reidy, Emily Stearney, Jeanvieve Van Duch, Megan Zabinski, and Bailey Zyer.

The squad is coached by Donna Adcock and Lauren Bilbrey.
