Lombard Fire Department Practices Severe Weather Safety With Schools
Over the next two weeks, the Lombard Fire Department will be participating with local school officials as their partners in safety, as each school conducts its Severe Weather, Shelter in Place Drills.
Knowledge, preparation and practice are key ingredients to a successful outcome when faced with a life safety situation. The Lombard Fire Departments invites all residents and the business community alike to take the time over the weeks ahead to think about severe weather preparation, devise a plan of action, post the plan for review and then practice as a group.
Questions may be directed to the Fire Prevention Bureau at (630) 620-5750.
