Wolves cruise past IceHogs
The Chicago Wolves scored 4 unanswered goals in a 5-1 victory over the Rockford IceHogs at the Rockford MetroCentre on Sunday night.
Fredrik Pettersson, Riley Holzapfel, Ryan Garbutt, Paul Postma and Arturs Kulda scored goals for the Wolves, while goaltender Edward Pasquale (8-6-1) stopped 38 of 39 shots.
Pettersson put the Wolves ahead to stay 3:39 into the second period. The forward skated into the slot and ripped a shot past Hannu Toivonen, top shelf. Toivonen (14-14-4) finished with 24 saves.
